Land Grading-Why it’s so important:
1. Landscape Appeal
If you are investing money into a landscape you can lose money if your property is not properly graded. Without proper grading, there will be a lack of waterflow creating swampy areas attracting pests and mosquitos. Water build up can also cause plants to rot and die.
2. Environmental concerns
Proper grading slows future erosion of steep slopes and prevents clogged road drains and severe flooding saving you money down the road.
3. Foundation strength
Improper grading leaves your property with a weak foundation susceptible to serious issues like flooding and collapsed foundation. These issues are costly to repair and diminish the property value.
